Elizabeth was named the winner of the 2011-2012 Alabama Orchestra Association’s Composition Contest. Her work, The Remains of Truth, will be premiered during the Alabama All-State Orchestra Festival in February 2012.

Elizabeth’s opera scene, La Belle Dame sans Merci, was selected for performance by the Hartford Opera Theater’s New in November concert series.

Elizabeth’s work for 8 celli, Vertical Voices, commissioned for the 3rd Amsterdam Cello Biennale, was premiered in Amsterdam, Netherlands in November 2010.
